The STEP Model

STEP's service model is like the fire station for addiction. People just come in and get help. Independent research has shown that STEP services reduce criminal activity by 67%. Government officials now recognize that STEP's unique service model offers the most treatment bang for the buck in the face of shrinking resources. On Massachusetts Recovery Day in September 2002, STEP was honored by Mass. Organization for Addiction Recovery with a plaque acknowledging 30 years of service and dedication in helping victims of addiction.
